EP 33 - Empowered Parents, Stronger Families: One Class at a Time

Description

For more than 50 years, Parent Education for Development in Barbados (PAREDOS) has been helping parents become the best parents they can be. Through parenting classes held at its headquarters and communities across Barbados, PAREDOS continues to bring parents and facilitators together to share valuable knowledge, practical skills, and experiences. Under the sponsorship of The Maria Holder Memorial Trust, PAREDOS recently concluded its FREE 11-week Positive Parenting Class and is preparing to welcome its final cohort for the year.

On this episode of Pause for Parenting, single mothers Shantelle Burges and Josette Stephens Walter reflect on their experiences after completing the programme. They share what they gained from the classes, what the experience taught them about themselves, and how it has changed the way they view parenting.
