EP 34 - Beyond the School Gate: Building Partnerships That Help Children Thrive

Description

As the new school term approaches its fourth week, how are children and school staff settling in? And how can parents and teachers work together to make school a better experience for every child?

On this episode of Pause for Parenting, we welcome Nicole Brathwaite, General Secretary of the Barbados National Council of Parent Teachers Association, to discuss building strong home, school, and community partnerships. We ask why parents should get involved in their child’s PTA, how families and schools can respond to fighting at school, and whether cell phones should be allowed in classrooms. Join us for a conversation about the role we all play in helping children thrive.
