 Dr. Renée Boyce

Dr. Renée Boyce is a graduate of the University of the West Indies Class of 2004. She received her MB BS degree and a post graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2016. Upon completion of her internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital she worked in the Department of Haematology before transferring to the Winston Scott Polyclinic. After working in the public system for over a decade, Dr. Boyce transitioned to private practice where she currently manages her general medical practice.

 

Over the years Dr. Boyce discovered a passion for public speaking and teaching and has facilitated numerous lectures for church and other social groups on various aspects of health. She is a repeat guest on ‘Mornin’ Barbados’, writes a weekly column in ‘The Barbados Today’ newspaper and for the past year she has been the host of the ‘Better Health Radio Show’ on VOB 92.9.

 

She is the immediate past Public Relations Officer of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners and she sits on the National Advisory Committee of Occupational Safety and Health.

 

She is an avid musician capable of playing four instruments and has been a keyboardist at her local church for nearly thirty years. She has been married for fourteen (14) years and is the mother of two children ages ten (10) and six (6) years.

 

Dr. Boyce believes in striving for excellence in whatever one attempts, and it is her desire through continued discovery of her God-given purpose, to empower others to reach their own destinies.
